Plant rescue in SE Round Rock, March 3, 2024

Volunteer with us Sunday, March 3, from 10am-1pm in SE Round Rock as we rescue plants such as Longleaf Buckwheat (Eriogonum longifolium) and Cobaea Penstemon (Penstemon cobaea) from a prairie site prior to construction. There is street parking available with a 250′ walk to the plants. Further details can be found on our SignUpGenius page

Plant rescue in Liberty Hill, February 17, 2024

Volunteer with us Saturday, February 17 from 10am-1pm in Liberty Hill as we rescue plants from a meadow site prior to construction. There is adjacent street parking available. The plant list and further details can be found on our sign up page at the button below. Note that there is an opportunity to pick up rescued bare root plants in Round Rock at 4pm for those that cannot make the rescue.

Order your Native Plant Society of Texas Garden Signs

Promote Texas native plants and NPSOT membership by purchasing an all-weather aluminum sign for your property.

The Williamson County Chapter is offering an online  opportunity to purchase  a sign for  $19.00. There are two different designs. Each sign measures 9” x 12” and has pre-drilled holes for mounting.

Order and pay for your signs by Tuesday, February 13, 2024 using our online chapter store. Signs can be picked up at either of these locations:

  • Saturday, April 6, 2024 in Round Rock
    • At the NPSOT-Williamson County Chapter Spring Native Plant Sale @ Champion Park, Round Rock, Texas
  • Thursday, April 11, 2024 in Georgetown
    • At the NPSOT-Williamson County Chapter meeting @ the Georgetown Public Library

$19.00 per sign
