We are looking for someone special who enjoys organizing events and would like to support our Native Landscaping Certification Program (NLCP) classes. It is a great way to help our chapter promote native plants with the public.

NLCP needs a lead person to work with the instructors and coordinate our landscaping classes. Below is a summary of the NLCP-Wilco Coordinator’s duties. You are not required to attend the classes but you may audit any or all of them for free!

  • Obtains assistance and delegates duties where appropriate
  • Schedules classroom for spring and fall classes
  • Schedules instructors, walk leaders & classroom assistants

  • Arranges for copies of class materials
  • Provides name badges
  • Mails class documentation to state NLCP Coordinator after each class
  • Fills out class Expense Report and provides to the treasurer for reimbursements

If this is a good fit for your skill set, please contact Gary Bowers or Randy Pensabene (or let us know by email to wilco-chapter@npsot.org).
