Video and Photos from July 11’s Annual Chapter Meeting

President Nancy Copperman announced the officers who will hold elected positions for 2024-2025 and also presented NPSOT pins to folks celebrating milestone years of membership in the Society. If you reached a milestone year and were not able to attend the meeting, your pin will be delivered to you another way. (The meeting’s business slides are here.)

The evening ended with a presentation by Randy Pensabene and Gary Bowers about a new chapter project — the Williamson County native plant database! See the meeting’s YouTube video to learn more. (The project discussion starts at 21:34 minutes in.)

Chapter Members, your 2024-2025 ballot is “in the mail”

As announced at June 13’s chapter meeting and in a blog post, we’re holding an online election for Williamson County Chapter officers for the term September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025. Only Williamson County Chapter members are eligible to vote.

Separately from this blog post, online voting instructions were emailed directly to chapter members today, June 23, using the email addresses on file with the Society’s state office.  If you do not see the ballot email in your inbox, please check your spam folder.  If you still do not see your ballot email, please contact webmaster Pat Donica using this form.

Election results will be announced at our chapter meeting on July 11, 2024 (meeting announcement).

Officers are elected by chapter members.  The remaining board positions are appointed, not elected.  Position-holders for appointed positions will be announced at a future date.
