Plant rescue in Liberty Hill, January 20, 2024

Volunteer with us Saturday, January 20th from 10am-1pm in Liberty Hill as we rescue plants from a 2 acre property prior to construction. There is easy parking next to the site, but be mindful that there is tall grass to walk through and no trails. You may dig plants for conservation and/or to take for your own projects. Plant rescue in south Georgetown, Dec 2, 2023

Volunteer with us Saturday, December 2, from 10am-1pm as we rescue plants from a 20 acre meadow site. There is a 1/2 mile hike into the property from the parking area. You may dig plants to take for your own projects, and if you are able, you may help collect small fossils that will be used in STEM classes for children. Also, an owner representative will be onsite during the rescue taking photos. The plant list and further details can be found at the signupgenius link below.

Meeting Reminder: Oct 12, “Williamson County’s Native Plant Rescue Project” with Ashley Landry

Please note: our in-person location this month is the Georgetown Parks & Rec Administration Building, not the Georgetown Public Library.

Join NPSOT-Williamson County on Thursday, October 12, 2023, when our featured topic will be Williamson County’s Native Plant Rescue Project with Ashley Landry.  Free and open to the public. We begin at 7:00 PM with a short business meeting followed by our guest speaker’s presentation. Read more about this month’s topic in our previous meeting announcement.
