Plant rescue in NW Cedar Park on September 7, 2024

Volunteer with us Saturday, September 7, from 8:00-10:30 in NW Cedar Park as we rescue limestone meadow plants such as Blackfoot Daisy (Melampodium leucanthum), Slender Greenthread (Thelesperma simplicifolium) and Texas Skeleton Plant (Lygodesmia texana) prior to construction. There is a long asphalt driveway on the site, and you will pull off to the side of the driveway to park on the grass. The rescue area is a 7 acre, full sun site adjacent to the parking area.

More details can be found on our sign up form below. Once you sign up, you will automatically be redirected to sign the liability paperwork. Directions and location info will be sent a few days prior to rescue day.

You must be a current NPSOT member (any chapter) and at least 18 to attend the plant rescue. (Join NPSOT or renew here.) ALL participants must sign up below, no unexpected guests on rescue day please.
