Texas Brigades, 2026 Summer Camps

News from Texas Brigades:

Texas Brigades is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and empowering youth through hands-on learning in natural resource management, agriculture, wildlife conservation, and leadership development.

Each summer, Texas Brigades hosts several week-long camps across Texas, as well as one camp in North Dakota. These camps are led by industry professionals, educators, and trained volunteers who mentor and guide students through hands-on learning experiences.

Texas Brigades is currently recruiting Adult Leaders for the 2026 summer camps. Adult Leaders attend camp as mentors, working alongside cadets and helping guide them through educational activities and leadership development opportunities. There is no specific experience required to serve as an Adult Leader. This role provides valuable professional development, meaningful outdoor experience, and the opportunity to build lasting connections with educators, conservation professionals, and other volunteers who are passionate about natural resource stewardship and education.

Applications for camp opportunities can be found on the Texas Brigades website:

Application Deadline: March 15, 2026 (11:59 PM)
Apply Here: https://www.texasbrigades.org/applications/

Texas Brigades is also accepting applications for youth ages 13–17 and incoming high school seniors interested in attending our camps as cadets. Tuition assistance is available to ensure these opportunities remain accessible to kids across the state. So if you know of any youth who may be interested, please share those opportunities as well!
