DESCRIPTION:Join NPSOT-Williamson County on Thursday\, August 13\, 2026\, when our featured topic will be “In the Path of Development: Planting Seeds for the Future” with Ashley Landry. Free and open to the public. The meeting begins at 7:00 PM.  The guest presentation begins after a short business meeting. \nThis month’s presentation will NOT be recorded for YouTube. \nAbout our topic: Learn about recent plant saving work including the MoKan Prairie sod translocation\, remnant prairie haying and conservation efforts with Prunus minutiflora and its specialist\, endemic weevil. We’ll also talk about plant rescues and how you can be involved. \nAbout our speaker: Ashley Landry is the founder of the Native Plant Rescue Project (NPRP)\, which is a Central Texas-based nonprofit that coordinates plant rescues prior to construction. She is a Nancy Benedict Memorial Award winner and has been featured in Wildflower magazine\, NPAT’s Prairie People\, The Austin Chronicle\, Vibrante magazine and on Central Texas Gardener. DESCRIPTION:Each month on the third Sunday of the month. 8:30am-11:30am. \nNo NPSOT sign up required.  Members and non-members are welcome.  Join us at the garden when you can.  Bring a hat\, boots\, gloves and water.
