Promote Texas native plants at this free event which is geared towards all ages and with a wide variety of activities and services creating awareness regarding Earth Day. NPSOT-Wilco will have an educational tabling event and a plant giveaway. \nThe event is from 9am-12pm. NPSOT volunteers shifts run from 8:30am-12:30pm. You can volunteer for the whole day\, or for any of the shifts. SUMMARY:Volunteer: Landfill Pollinator Garden Workday
DESCRIPTION:This month\, join us one week early and\, instead of working\, join us as we enjoy some wildflower blooms\, identify plants\, find some pollinators\, and partake in some light refreshments. If you truly can’t resist pulling weeds\, show up at 9a for a little light weeding and tidying! \nTypically\, we meet each month on the third Sunday of the month. 8:30am-11:30am. \nNo NPSOT sign up required.  Members and non-members are welcome.  Join us at the garden when you can.  Bring a hat\, boots\, gloves and water. Bring your favorite tools. \nThe garden is located at the entrance to the Williamson County Landfill\, at the corner of FM 1660 and Landfill Road in Hutto\, TX\, across from the Recycling Center. \nCheck out our Pollinator Garden Photo Album!  If you’d like to add your photos\, join the contributor group by clicking the plus sign on the album page.
